“Runs in the Family”
This series is a collaboration between my Mom and I to blend our love for art with our own mediums.

“Everyday Creatures”
This is a fun mini series capturing what creatures like to do in their free time.

“We Survived”
This body of work is about giving a voice to survivors of sexual assault. Sexual assault is an ongoing issue that is rarely ever talked about. In America alone, someone is sexually assaulted every 73 seconds and one out of every five women will experience sexual assault at least once in their life. Victims that choose to come forward are often made to feel that they are at fault. Victims are often afraid to come forward and feel their stories won’t be heard or that they may be labeled. I have created a safe space for survivors of sexual assault to share their stories without fear of judgement through anonymous portraits. Each individual was asked to answer the question “How have you changed since your sexual assault?” and was given the freedom to interpret it how they wanted.
Here are their stories...

“Just Another Statistic”
This series brings awareness to the horrifying sexual assault statistics in the United States.
1 in 5 college women will be raped during their time in college
Every 73 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted
Out of every 1000 sexual assaults, 995 perpetrators will walk free
Victims of sexual assault are six times more likely to experience PTSD and feel a loss of identity
Many rape kits are never tested and get backlogged for months or even years.
In the US, rape is the most costly crime to its victims totaling $127 billion a year in medical costs, lost earnings, pain, suffering, & lost quality of life.
