Creating art has always been a way that I express myself. It allows me to process what I am feeling and thinking and translate it into a visual. I find it therapeutic to create and turn my thoughts into an art piece whether it’s through photography or some other medium. I view art as a way to create conversation. A single photo can raise questions and bring light to topics or issues that aren’t typically talked about. A lot of my personal projects are focused around mental health and sexual assault awareness. I often explore different ways to represent tough topics through photography.
When I am not working on personal projects or commercial work, I enjoy exploring travel, outdoor, and wildlife photography. I love capturing the way that nature interacts with the world around me and find the small moments of beauty in it.
